This place is a repository for images and words. Evidence of a life, an obsession, and exploration and a journey. Tiny glass beads are a recurring theme, but they are just one arrow in my quiver as I endeavor to make my mark on this peculiar world I inhabit.

David Chatt is an artist currently based in Western North Carolina who specializes in beaded sculpture and glasswork. His storied career is marked by time spent at Penland School of Craft, Pratt Fine Arts Center, Pilchuck Glass School, and Western Washington University. Chatt’s work is at home in the collections of the Renwick Museum, Racine Art Museum, Corning Museum of Glass, MFA Boston, MAD New York, among many others.
